STATUS_FLT_NAME_CACHE_MISS

STATUS_FLT_NAME_CACHE_MISS is a lookup result with an important timing meaning. A cache-only name query found no entry, or Filter Manager could not fall back to a file-system query under the requested options. It does not say that the object has no name.

Do not confuse it with STATUS_FLT_INVALID_NAME_REQUEST. A cache miss can be an expected result of choosing a safe cache-only policy; an invalid name request means the requested query cannot be performed in the current context. Where the callback and operation permit it, a later filesystem-only query may resolve the name.
