STATUS_NDIS_MULTICAST_NOT_FOUND

The caller tried to remove a multicast address that is not currently programmed

STATUS_NDIS_MULTICAST_NOT_FOUND is the inverse of a duplicate-add problem. The multicast address being removed is not part of the adapter's current enabled receive list as maintained through NDIS. That usually means cleanup ran twice, a binding lost ownership information, or the list was replaced by a later OID_802_3_MULTICAST_LIST operation.

The important distinction is between multicast membership state and link connectivity. Packets may still flow normally for other addresses. Diagnose the sequence of add, replace, and remove operations, especially when a virtual switch, capture driver, or intermediate component sits above the miniport.
