STATUS_TPM_DAA_INPUT_DATA1

DAA inputData1 failed the TPM consistency check

STATUS_TPM_DAA_INPUT_DATA1 is the companion Direct Anonymous Attestation validation failure for the second DAA input-data field. The TPM accepted the command framing far enough to inspect the DAA parameter set, then found that this field was inconsistent.

The root cause is usually in DAA protocol construction: mismatched issuer material, stale intermediate values, wrong stage ordering, or a caller/library marshalling bug. Reinitializing the TPM is normally too broad and loses the evidence needed to diagnose the protocol exchange.

Treat this status as a precise field-level clue. Compare the exact command ordinal, stage, issuer data, and TPM-specific values with the DAA flow that produced them.

Diagnostic focus

  • Log both DAA input fields, their lengths, and the DAA stage name.
  • Check that inputData0 and inputData1 come from the same issuer/session flow.
  • Validate that the TPM command buffer has not been rebuilt with mixed cached values.
