The extended processor state model is not valid for Hyper-V
STATUS_HV_CPUID_XSAVE_FEATURE_VALIDATION_ERROR is a CPUID validation error focused on XSAVE and extended processor state. XSAVE controls how architectural state such as vector registers and extended features is saved, restored, and exposed to a virtual processor.

Useful distinction
The ordinary CPUID validation status covers general feature discovery. This status is narrower: it says the extended save-state model itself failed validation, so the relevant evidence is the xstate feature set and the state image that Hyper-V must virtualize.
