ERROR_HV_CPUID_XSAVE_FEATURE_VALIDATION
XSAVE exposure must agree with CPUID and extended-state layout
ERROR_HV_CPUID_XSAVE_FEATURE_VALIDATION is specific to processor extended state such as x87, SSE, AVX, and later XSAVE-managed components. Hyper-V validates that the requested XSAVE feature mask, CPUID enumeration, and state layout form an architecture-consistent set for every virtual processor.
Log the requested XSAVE disable mask and the ordinary processor feature banks together. A guest cannot safely advertise an extended-state component while hiding its required CPUID capability or providing an incompatible save-area contract. During migration, compare the source and destination XSAVE sets and use processor compatibility rather than assuming equal CPU vendor names imply equal extended state.

- Source and destination processor feature sets for restore or migration.
- Partition compatibility version and architecture.
