ERROR_VHD_SPARSE_HEADER_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION
ERROR_VHD_SPARSE_HEADER_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION means the sparse header of a dynamic or differencing legacy VHD uses a version the current stack does not support.
What to do
- Identify the product and version that created the virtual disk.
- Use a supported host or the original virtualization platform to access a copy of the disk.
- Do not alter header version values to bypass the check, because the rest of the on-disk layout may also be incompatible.
