Some IPP routines solve a problem through iteration. This status means the routine could not reach its convergence criterion under the current data, tolerance and iteration limits.
The input may be syntactically valid. The failure is numerical: the problem can be ill-conditioned, the tolerance can be unrealistic, or the selected algorithm may be unsuitable for the input distribution.
Check these details
- Stopping tolerance, maximum iteration count and scaling of the input data.
- Conditioning of matrices, filters or polynomial equations involved in the operation.
- Whether a more stable algorithm variant is available for the same task.
