ippStsShareKeyErr
This ECC status is tied to shared-secret derivation rather than to ordinary symmetric encryption. It appears when the shared key produced or supplied for an ECC key-agreement operation fails the library checks.
Investigate the peer public key, local private key, curve domain, and key-derivation step together. A wrong peer curve or invalid public point can produce a failure that later shows up as a shared-key problem.
Do not skip these inputs
- The peer public key validation result.
- The local private key range check.
- The curve identifier and field parameters used by both sides.
- The KDF or export length requested after the raw shared secret is produced.
