The coefficient-resolution flag determines how many bits represent TNS coefficients. If the flag or derived coefficient length is illegal for the syntax in use, the decoder cannot reconstruct the TNS filter safely.
This is a compressed-domain error. Changing PCM format, sample buffer alignment, or output channel layout will not repair a bad TNS coefficient-resolution field.
Inspect
- The coefficient-resolution flag for each TNS window.
- The filter order, because it determines how many coefficients follow.
- Whether the parser is reading ER AAC or non-ER AAC syntax at this point.
