The transaction closure is incomplete: dependencies or files required to complete the assembly operation are absent. This often follows an interrupted installation, a partial package, or inconsistent deployment metadata.
Retry using the complete supported installer. Avoid mixing extracted files from different package versions.
What to check
- Check the setup or servicing log for the first missing transaction member.
- Ensure all dependent packages and prerequisites are available to the installer.
- If the transaction belongs to Windows servicing, repair the component store before retrying the update or feature installation.
