STORE_ERROR_LICENSE_REVOKED
The Store license is no longer valid
STORE_ERROR_LICENSE_REVOKED means an entitlement that may have been valid earlier is no longer accepted. Revocation can follow refund, subscription change, policy action, account change, or updated license information.
Application response
- Refresh the authoritative license state.
- Disable only the functionality governed by the revoked entitlement.
- Preserve user-created data and provide export where appropriate.
- Explain account or purchase-recovery options without exposing sensitive details.
Developer note
Do not rely indefinitely on a cached positive license. Handle transitions from licensed to unlicensed explicitly and make the UI consistent across running instances.
Revocation transition
Applications should handle license loss while already running. Update feature availability at a controlled boundary, save user work, and avoid abruptly corrupting documents that were created while licensed.
Data policy
Revocation should restrict entitlement, not erase user-created content. Keep local data accessible for export or read-only use when product policy permits, and clearly separate licensing state from storage ownership.
