ERROR_INSTALL_LOG_FAILURE
ERROR_INSTALL_LOG_FAILURE means that Windows Installer could not open its requested log file. The installation failure may therefore have little or no log output until the logging location or mode is corrected.
What to check
- Verify that the requested log directory exists and is writable by the account running Windows Installer.
- Check the log-file name and command-line logging options for invalid or inaccessible locations.
- After correcting the location, rerun the same installation and preserve the new log before making other changes.
