ERROR_INSTALL_PACKAGE_REJECTED
ERROR_INSTALL_PACKAGE_REJECTED means that the package is blocked by system policy. It is not a corrupt-package result and should not be bypassed by repeatedly relaunching the installer under another UI mode.
What to check
- Record the package identity, publisher, source, and policy context in which the block occurred.
- Check organizational software-restriction, application-control, and deployment policies with the administrator responsible for the device.
- Use an approved package or approved distribution path instead of changing the package to evade policy controls.
