RPC_S_INTERFACE_NOT_FOUND indicates that an RPC operation looking for a specific interface could not find it. Depending on the API, the search may involve local server registration, endpoint-map data, or namespace-exported binding information.

This status is close to RPC_S_UNKNOWN_IF but appears in lookup-oriented operations. The practical diagnostic key is the interface identifier: UUID plus major and minor version information.

What to compare

Extract the interface UUID and version from the MIDL-generated interface specification on both client and server.
Check whether the server successfully called RpcServerRegisterIf* before publishing bindings.
Inspect endpoint-map or namespace filters for version-selection options that exclude the registered interface.
When multiple interfaces share one process, do not reuse the wrong RPC_IF_HANDLE while exporting or registering endpoints.

A reachable endpoint is not enough: endpoint discovery and interface matching are separate. Diagnose the exact interface UUID/version path that failed.
