No account-specific quota limit is configured
NTFS can apply volume defaults and can create a user quota entry when the user first writes data. This informational result means there is no specific quota record for the queried account; it does not necessarily mean quota management is disabled or that storage is unlimited.
Diagnosis should examine both the user entry and the volume-wide defaults. An administrator may intentionally rely on inherited thresholds rather than maintaining an explicit record for every SID.
What to inspect
- Query the quota state and default warning and hard limits for the volume.
- Resolve the exact SID used for charging storage, especially for services and impersonated users.
- Do not create a special entry unless policy requires limits different from the volume defaults.
