ippStsWrongIntersectROI
The rectangle can be valid but still process nothing
This warning concerns intersection, not merely width and height. A source ROI may have positive dimensions yet lie completely outside the source image, or a transformed destination ROI may be clipped away. IPP then performs no pixel operation.
It differs from a malformed-rectangle error and from ippStsWrongIntersectQuad, where the transformed quadrangle rather than the rectangular ROI misses the processing area.
Diagnostic checklist
- Log ROI origin and size together with the full source and destination image bounds.
- Apply the same coordinate convention at every layer; an offset relative to a parent image must not be reused as a tile-local offset.
- Include border expansion and transform rounding when calculating the effective intersection.
- Treat a no-op tile as expected only when the scheduler deliberately emitted out-of-bounds work.
