ERROR_FT_WRITE_FAILURE
All redundant writes failed
ERROR_FT_WRITE_FAILURE indicates a severe fault-tolerant storage failure: the requested data could not be written to any available copy. The application must treat the write as unsuccessful.
Immediate response
- Stop further dependent writes and surface the failure.
- Check every member device, path, controller, and storage-pool state.
- Preserve diagnostics before rebooting or rebuilding the array.
- Verify backups because redundancy may already be lost.
Recovery
Restore at least one writable, trustworthy copy through the storage platform’s recovery process. Never acknowledge the application write until durable completion is confirmed.
