ERROR_CLUSTER_EVICT_INVALID_REQUEST

ERROR_CLUSTER_EVICT_INVALID_REQUEST means evicting the selected node would violate quorum requirements or is otherwise invalid in the current cluster state. Removing the last usable node is not a normal eviction scenario.

What to check

Check quorum, witness, and node state before any eviction.
If this is disaster recovery, follow the documented cluster recovery process rather than repeatedly retrying eviction.
For planned maintenance, drain or move workloads and preserve quorum before removing the node.
