EADV

A specific Remote File Sharing lifecycle conflict

EADV is not a generic advertising or discovery failure. Solaris documents it as an obsolete Remote File Sharing (RFS) error. Historical RFS paths used it when a resource was advertised twice, when RFS shutdown was attempted while resources remained advertised, or when a forced unmount targeted a resource that was still advertised.

That lifecycle makes this result different from ESRMNT. ESRMNT concerns remote machines that still have resources mounted or a rthis resultertised client list that excludes a current mounter. Both values survive in the errno ABI even though RFS-specific descriptions are marked obsolete.
