ERROR_DS_DRA_RPC_CANCELLED (8455) is an Active Directory replication error. The DRS RPC call began but was cancelled before it completed. Look for the actor that cancelled it: service shutdown, network interruption, timeout, administrative action, or a higher-priority replication task.

What to check

Compare the cancellation timestamp with restarts, firewall changes, network events, and Directory Service events on both DCs.
Check whether the same partner and naming context fail repeatedly or whether cancellations move among partners under load.
Preserve the nested RPC status if present; this DRA code alone does not identify the transport cause.
