FVE_E_WRONG_SYSTEM_FS

FVE_E_WRONG_SYSTEM_FS means BitLocker cannot encrypt the Windows operating-system volume because it is not formatted as NTFS. The filesystem must be corrected before BitLocker can protect that OS volume.

What to check

Confirm you selected the Windows OS volume rather than the separate EFI or system partition.
Plan any filesystem conversion or migration as a storage change, with tested backup and recovery.
Do not reformat an OS volume simply to resolve the HRESULT; preserve or migrate the installation first.
