FVE_E_PIN_INVALID

FVE_E_PIN_INVALID means that BitLocker could not obtain the volume key through the configured TPM-and-PIN protector. The PIN may be wrong, or the TPM protector may no longer match the current boot environment.

How to investigate

Verify that the correct startup PIN is being used and that the keyboard layout at pre-boot entry is understood.
When normal startup authentication cannot succeed, use the approved recovery method for the displayed recovery key ID.
After recovery, investigate recent boot, firmware, or TPM changes before replacing protectors.
