STATUS_FVE_FAILED_SECTOR_SIZE
The error is about encryption-method compatibility with the target’s sector geometry. It is not a failed read or write, and it is not corrected by changing a recovery protector.
Record both logical and physical sector information for the exact volume and compare it with the encryption method and Windows policy chosen for the deployment. This matters for native 4K and emulated-sector devices, virtual disks, and storage stacks that expose a different geometry from the underlying media.
Do not force an unsupported method through a policy retry. Select a supported method or storage configuration, then restart the enablement workflow from a known state.
