ERROR_CTX_WINSTATIONS_DISABLED
ERROR_CTX_WINSTATIONS_DISABLED means the target currently does not accept Remote Desktop logons. This can result from the Remote Desktop setting, an effective GPO, a listener/service state, or a temporary administrative restriction.
What to check
- Verify that the host is configured to allow remote connections and that the Remote Desktop Services service is running.
- Use Resultant Set of Policy to check whether a domain policy disables remote connections or listener settings.
- Confirm firewall and network reachability only after establishing that the host is intended to accept RDP sessions.
