MF_S_SEQUENCER_CONTEXT_CANCELED

MF_S_SEQUENCER_CONTEXT_CANCELED is documented for IMFSequencerSource::GetPresentationContext. That method maps a presentation descriptor to its sequencer element ID and the original topology supplied to AppendTopology; this success status specifically means the segment was canceled.

Do not treat the canceled presentation context as an active segment

Check the HRESULT before using the returned segment ID or topology as current playlist state.
Remember that ppTopology can also be NULL after the sequencer source has switched to the next presentation.
When a topology is needed for the Media Session, call IMFMediaSourceTopologyProvider::GetMediaSourceTopology; Microsoft warns not to queue the original topology returned by GetPresentationContext.

Because this is an MF_S_* status, generic SUCCEEDED(hr) handling is not enough when the application needs an active segment. Test the specific status and discard or reconcile the canceled playlist context.
