FSRM_E_SYNC_TASK_HAD_ERRORS
FSRM_E_SYNC_TASK_HAD_ERRORS means the synchronization task ran but could not update every classification property definition successfully. This differs from a timeout: the task reached a completed state and recorded definition-level failures.
Reconcile the two property schemas
- Read the task and application logs for the property identifiers that failed.
- Compare enabled Active Directory resource properties with local FSRM definitions, including type and allowed values.
- Fix conflicts before rerunning synchronization and then validate dependent classification rules.
Some definitions may have synchronized successfully, so deleting the complete local schema is unnecessary and can break existing jobs. Treat display names as insufficient identifiers and confirm the actual property definition used by each rule. After a clean synchronization, run classification on a controlled test folder before changing production file metadata.
