WU_E_DS_IMPERSONATED
WU_E_DS_IMPERSONATED means a Windows Update data-store operation was requested while the caller was impersonating another identity. The data-store component requires the proper non-impersonated execution context for that operation.
For developers and service operators
- Check whether the calling thread is impersonating a user, network account, or delegated token.
- Perform the supported data-store call in the correct service or system context.
- Record the process and token context together with the HRESULT; permissions changes alone may not resolve an impersonation restriction.
