ERROR_NDIS_INTERFACE_CLOSING The binding between an NDIS component and the network interface is being torn down. New data-path or OID work must not assume that the adapter remains usable while closing is in progress.
What to check
- Check whether the adapter was disabled, removed, restarted, or reconfigured immediately before the failure.
- For a driver or filter, stop issuing new requests after the close transition and complete or cancel work according to the NDIS lifecycle.
- Capture the surrounding NDIS and Plug and Play events to identify the component that initiated the close.
