STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED
The transport connection is already disconnected
Treat this as a lifecycle state: the connection is already disconnected when another operation attempts to use it. Find the earlier disconnect and stop later users from retaining stale state.
The connection object no longer represents an active data path. Higher-level code should treat subsequent I/O as occurring after disconnect, not as an initial connect failure.
What to inspect
- Check who initiated the disconnect.
- Stop sending new I/O after disconnect notification.
- Correlate with redirector, DFS, or RPC retry behavior.
