STATUS_DS_NO_RIDS_ALLOCATED
The DC has no RID block to allocate from
Every security principal SID in a domain needs a domain SID plus a unique relative identifier. Domain controllers normally receive RID pools from the RID Master and then allocate individual RIDs locally.
This status means the local DC could not allocate a RID for the requested object. The object creation path may be correct, but the RID allocation subsystem or its communication with the RID Master is not healthy.
What to inspect
- Identify the DC processing the account, computer or group creation.
- Verify RID Master ownership and reachability.
- Check replication and RID pool events before moving FSMO roles or forcing recovery.
