STATUS_FT_WRITE_FAILURE
No redundant copy accepted the write
The status indicates that data could not be written to any of the available copies. It belongs to fault-tolerant storage handling and is stronger than failure of one mirror member: every copy selected for the operation failed to receive the update.
Do not report the write as durable. Determine which layer owns the redundancy, such as Storage Spaces, a clustered volume, or another mirrored provider, and inspect each member separately. A successful read from an older copy does not prove that the failed write was preserved.
What to inspect
- Capture member health, operational status, and the exact failed range.
- Stop workloads that could overwrite the only remaining consistent copy.
- Repair or replace failed members before resuming normal writes.
