The corruption log itself is damaged
This status reports internal corruption of a volume corruption log. Because the tracking structure is unreliable, the volume may contain defects that are not represented in the remaining records.
Recreating the log restores tracking, not the underlying data. A full supported scan is required to rebuild knowledge of the volume state. Preserve event evidence first, especially if the corruption appeared after a controller reset, unexpected shutdown, or storage migration.
What to inspect
- Save current event logs and storage diagnostics.
- Recreate the corruption log only through supported repair tooling.
- Scan the entire volume to detect defects that the damaged log may have missed.
