RPC_NT_UUID_NO_ADDRESS
UUID creation could not use a network address source
This status appears in the UUID-generation path. Some UUID generation modes incorporate local address information; if no suitable address can be obtained, the runtime cannot construct the requested form.
It does not imply that every RPC protocol sequence is unusable. Check network-interface availability, address-family configuration, and whether the application really requires an address-based UUID instead of a random or configured identifier.
What to inspect
- Inspect network adapter and address-family availability.
- Use a stable configured UUID for public interfaces instead of generating one at runtime.
- Separate UUID generation failure from endpoint binding failure.
