NS_E_PDA_DELETE_FAILED
The device-side delete operation failed
NS_E_PDA_DELETE_FAILED (0xC00D1238) is specific to removing an item from portable-device storage during synchronization. It is not the same as failure to copy a new track or failure to establish the sync partnership.
Preserve the target object
Record device identity, object/path ID, storage area, read-only/protection state, free space, connection state, and the first portable-device delete error. Check whether the item is currently open or protected by device policy.
Retest
Delete the same object through the supported device API/UI under the same connection. If manual deletion succeeds, inspect stale object IDs or sync inventory; if it fails, address device storage/state rather than re-encoding media.
