MF_E_TRUST_DISABLED

MF_E_TRUST_DISABLED indicates that a component reached the protected-media trust path but its trusted functionality is not active. The Protected Media Path relies on trusted components, policy negotiation, and protected-process validation; this HRESULT is therefore more specific than a generic initialization failure.

Trace where the protected path was selected

Do not disable protection requirements merely to get past the failure. A protected presentation can require the PMP by design. The useful distinction is whether trust was intentionally disabled on the component, the wrong session type was created, or the component cannot participate in the protected environment.
