STATUS_GRAPHICS_PATH_NOT_IN_TOPOLOGY
The source-target path is not in the VidPN topology
A VidPN topology is the set of video present paths, and each path associates one source with one target. This status means an operation referenced a path that is not part of the topology being queried or modified.
It commonly results from keeping a path object or source-target pair after topology augmentation, pruning, or commit. Another frequent cause is mixing topology data from the active VidPN with data from a proposed client VidPN.
What to check
- Log both source ID and target ID; a path is a pair, not only one endpoint.
- Reacquire topology interfaces after commit, rollback, or hot-plug events.
- Check that code does not compare paths from different VidPN handles or adapter instances.
