STATUS_RDBSS_CONTINUE_OPERATION
The RDBSS operation has more stages to execute
This internal control status indicates that the current helper or callback did not finish the overall network file-system request. RDBSS should continue through the remaining processing path using the updated RX_CONTEXT and associated connection or file objects.
It differs from STATUS_PENDING: the operation is not necessarily waiting for asynchronous completion. It also differs from STATUS_RDBSS_RESTART_OPERATION because processing continues from the current state instead of restarting the request.
What to inspect
- Record which stage returned the status and the subsequent state selected in RX_CONTEXT.
- Ensure the caller does not complete the IRP or free context objects prematurely.
- Check reference counts and locks across the transition to the next stage.
- Treat an externally visible occurrence as evidence that an internal control status leaked from the redirector stack.
