E_IMAPI_DF2TAO_WRITE_IN_PROGRESS is a Track-at-Once lifecycle conflict. AddAudioTrack writes the supplied audio stream as the next track, and IMAPI reports progress through DDiscFormat2TrackAtOnceEvents while the operation is active.

Prevent overlapping AddAudioTrack operations

Record the track job that first entered AddAudioTrack.
Serialize UI, queue and callback paths that share one IDiscFormat2TrackAtOnce instance.
Use CancelAddTrack for cancellation instead of calling another track operation to probe state.

This code does not mean that the disc already contains tracks; existing-track count and blank-media policy have separate APIs and HRESULTs. If no write should be active, look for reentrant event handling or duplicate job dispatch. Preserve the final HRESULT of the original AddAudioTrack call so later lifecycle errors do not hide the first failure.
