E_IMAPI_DF2DATA_CLIENT_NAME_IS_NOT_VALID

E_IMAPI_DF2DATA_CLIENT_NAME_IS_NOT_VALID reports invalid client identification on the data-format object. IDiscFormat2Data::put_ClientName sets the friendly name used by the IMAPI client, and the value must be accepted before the write workflow proceeds.

Validate client identity at object setup time

This HRESULT is not a filesystem volume-label or disc-title error. Those names belong to image or filesystem metadata; ClientName identifies the application using the recorder. Replacing the disc or rebuilding the data stream cannot fix an invalid client string. Keep the client-name setup result separate in logs so a later write failure is not incorrectly blamed on media.
