This status is specific to codebook-driven primitives. A codebook flag typically selects how a table is interpreted, initialized, updated or searched.
The input samples may be valid, but the operation cannot interpret the codebook because the caller selected a flag outside the supported set.
Diagnostic focus
- Check the codebook initialization function and the flag passed to the failing primitive.
- Confirm that the codebook was built for the same sample type, dimension and algorithm mode.
- When loading codebooks from disk, validate version and endian/layout metadata.
